The Western Massachusetts Master Gardener Association invites you to an Earth Day Special Event on Sunday, April 24, at 2:00PM. “Healthy Soil” will help give attendees a better understanding of garden soil. It will also offer ways to increase the life of your soil and prep your garden for spring planting. The featured speaker will be Anne Willard, a graduate of the Neag School of Education at UCONN with a concentration in agricultural science and education. The event will be held at Barney Carriage House at Forest Park and is free of charge. However, space is limited so to reserve a place please register online at wmmga.org or by calling 413-596-3686. City Covid policies will be in effect. Soil testing will also be available to attendees for a $2. donation.
